Garden Pointe Assisted Living Facility, 7001 S. Hazel St., will sponsor a Breast Cancer Awareness Walk at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30.
The walk will begin at Garden Pointe and end at the Arkansas Cancer Institute, 7200 S. Hazel St.
The speaker will be Allen Wimberly, director of Watson Chapel High School band, accompanied by the WCHS drumline. The Rev. N. Bolden, Davis Life Care chaplain, will offer the prayer, according to a news release.
The community is invited to participate. Refreshments will be served, according to the release.
