The Schmieding Home Caregiver Training Program of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), in cooperation with True Home Care, invites family caregivers and the public to attend the All I Want For Christmas event from 1-3 p.m. Nov. 17 at the South Central Center on Aging, 4747 Dusty Lake Drive.
November is National Family Caregiver Month. If you provide any type of care or assistance to a loved one, you are invited and welcome to attend. This event will feature useful information about caregiving resources and stress management tips along with various demonstrations related to caregiving. Refreshments will be provided, and door prizes will be awarded to some attendees.
