Trotter Ford Lincoln, 3801 Bobo Road, will host a free child safety event from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11.
Operation Kidsafe will use a custom digital fingerprinting unit and the local sponsor will run the system and make it available free and private for parents, according to the Operation Kidsafe news release.
“Parents take home the only record of the visit….(a bio document) that is ready to hand to law enforcement in an emergency. Safety tips to start a family safety action plan are also included,” according to the release.
The free event will also include face painting for kids.
