Founders Day Festival scheduled

The White Hall Founders Day Festival 2025 will be held Saturday starting with the annual parade at 10 a.m.

“Join your neighbors and the rest of the White Hall community to watch the color and pageantry of the annual Founders Day parade starting at the U.S. Post Office and running north on Dollarway Road through White Hall, then turning left on Anderson Avenue towards City Park,” according to https://whitehallfoundersday.com/.

After the parade, people can enjoy booth vendors, food trucks, live local entertainment, and carnival rides at the City Park which will feature a full day of community activities. This family-friendly event has something for all ages.

The festival celebrates the 61st anniversary of the city.

“Ever since the city of White Hall’s incorporation on July 14, 1964, the Founders Day Fall Festival has been the city’s most popular and widely attended event during our community’s chock-full annual calendar of events,” according to the website.

“As old as the tradition, itself, is the parade that kicks off the celebration. The festival, held in White Hall City Park has always included a showcase of performances by a wide variety of local talent, including dance troupes, gymnastics teams, bands, choirs and others. Families can round out the day’s fun with a pancake breakfast, festival foods and beverages, souvenirs, games and other amusements,” according to the website.
