LITTLE ROCK — A Forrest City man faces more than four years in prison on child pornograpy charges.
Freddie Wallace, 42, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Susan Webber Wright to 262 months in prison followed by 10 years of supervised release on his September 2011 conviction on one federal count each of producing and possessing child pornography.
At his sentencing Friday, Wallace was also ordered to undergo sex offender therapy and to register as a sex offender, U.S. Attorney Christopher Thyer said.
Evidence presented during the trial revealed that the investigation began when a confidential informant brought a video depicting the exploitation of sleeping minors to the Wynne Police Department and stated it had been made by Wallace.
Detectives determined Wallace made the video and obtained a state search warrant for Wallace’s home, where additional video tapes and DVDs were seized.
The U.S. Secret Service assisted local authorities in the probe, Thyer said.
