Inspections are made unannounced by environmental health specialists.

PINE BLUFF CONVENTION, #1 Convention Center Plaza. Date of inspection May 7. Observed opened packages of hot dogs dated more than 7 days ago in the refrigerator. Food shall be discarded if it has not been used within 7 days. Hot dogs were pulled to be discarded during the inspection.
CITY OF WABBASEKA, 100 S. Paw Paw Road. Date of inspection May 7. No violations observed during time of inspection. At least one EMPLOYEE that has supervisory and management responsibility and the authority to direct and control FOOD preparation and service shall be a certified FOOD protection manager who has shown proficiency of required information through passing a test that is part of an ACCREDITED PROGRAM.
WENDY’S, 2910 Pines Mall Drive. Date of follow-up inspection June 5. No food observed in lobby side prep cooler during the inspection. The manger said that it is not being used. The ambient temperature was 47 degrees F. The lobby side prep cooler should not be used to store time/temperature sensitive foods until it can hold the foods at 41 degrees F or below.
RICE FIRST CLASS CATERING PINE BLUFF, 3141 W. 28th Ave. Date of inspection June 6. Walk in cooler is not being used during the inspection. The walk in cooler should maintain time/temperature control for safety foods at 41 degrees F or below before being used. Okay to operate-permit given.
