First Trinity event to distribute food
First Trinity Church of God in Christ, 800 S. Catalpa St., will give away food in a drive-thru distribution from 1-3 p.m. Friday.
Food will be given away on a first come, first served basis until all food is distributed. All participants are required to wear masks and remain in their vehicles during the distribution. The communitywide event is in partnership with the Arkansas Foodbank, according to a news release. Details: First Trinity Church office, (870) 534-2873.
Fish fry fundraiser is drive-thru affair
ACCESS Inc. is hosting its annual Fish Fry Fundraiser as a drive-thru event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 2 at the Donald W. Reynolds Community Services Center, 211 W. Third Ave. The event will be held on the Third Avenue parking lot, according to a news release.

Tickets are $15 each. Participants may drive up, present their tickets or money to a volunteer, receive their dinner and drive off. Food pantry open Saturday at church
Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church, 2507 Hill St., will open its Raven’s Nest Food Pantry on Saturday from 8-9:30 a.m. or until all the food has been given away. Food will be handed out on a first come, first served basis. Participants must arrive with photo identification. The site is a U.S. Department of Agriculture distribution location and an equal-opportunity provider, according to a news release.
