First Presbyterian Church, 717 W. 32nd Ave., will present a homecoming celebration at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 10. The speaker will be the pastor, the Rev. John Landis.
“Services will open with the new children’s choir performing on Orff instruments and will also include music by the sanctuary choir led by Linda Austin. Both of these choirs are open to anyone who wishes to join them,” a spokeswoman said.
Lunch will be provided by the grill team and all attending are invited to have lunch followed by “Musical Desserts” – a barbershop quartet.
“This service will celebrate the beginning of the school year and the return of all members and visitors after the summer vacation,” the spokeswoman said.
