The Jefferson County Farm Bureau is offering a $1,000 one-year scholarship to a student pursuing a degree in an agricultural related program. The application entry deadline is Monday, May 2.
Recipients must be U.S. citizens and Arkansas residents. They must have an active Farm Bureau family membership if under 23 years old. The scholarship is based on academic achievement, character, career plans and leadership potential. They must also have a 2.5 GPA or equivalent.
