Family Community Development Corp. will present its fifth annual Holiday Board Banquet at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, at the family life center of Pine Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 2101 W. Reeker St.
This event celebrates the history of the organization and raises funds to support youth and family programs involving residents of the University Park Neighborhood, according to a press release.
The Shaw Family will provide entertainment. The keynote address will be by juvenile court Judge Earnest E. Brown, circuit judge for the Sixth Division of the 11th Judicial District West (Jefferson and Lincoln counties.)
The corporation will honor the 2016 Outstanding Citizens who have given their time, talent and treasure to support the agency and the community for years, according to the release.
Honorees include Tyson Foods, Pine Bluff Mayor Debe Hollingsworth, Jefferson County Judge Dutch King, Lawrence A. Davis Jr., the Rev. Robert Anderson, Larnell Davis, Irene Holcomb, and longtime area pastor, Dewitt Hill.
Tickets are $25 each. Tables with seating for eight are $200. Ads for the souvenir booklet are also available.
