The Jefferson County Extension Service, 500 Idaho St., will host an upcycle workshop from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 1.
Upcycling is reusing discarded objects or materials in a way to create a product of a higher quality or value than the original, according to a news release. A demonstration will be given on building a serving tray from pallets. Interested participants should call 870-534-1033.
