The Jefferson County Cooperative Extension Office, 500 Idaho St., is offering soil testing.
A soil test will help homeowners better understand which nutrients are needed, in what quantities and whether or not the soil pH should be corrected. It takes up to two weeks for soil test results to return, according to a news release.
