The Jefferson County Cooperative Extension Office will host a how-to-build a rain barrel workshop from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, Aug. 18.
The cost of the class is $30. A $10 deposit is due by Monday, July 25, at the extension office, 500 Idaho St.
The event is in conjunction with the Southeast Urban Stormwater Education Program. Participants will be able to keep the rain barrel after the course.
