“Pecans are a good source of fiber, zinc, protein and omega-6 fatty acids and are recommended for heart health, improved blood sugar control, and brain function. Pecans and peanuts can be toasted for use in recipes, adding flavor to vegetable dishes, snacks and desserts. Freezing maintains quality of pecans and peanuts for over a year,” according to the release. “The Holiday Foods Show Cookbooks make economical and useful Christmas gifts.”
