The community is invited to have a bowl of soup at the Soup(er) Bowl Saturday at the fellowship hall of Old St. James Baptist Church, 1307 W. 15th Ave.
The event is free and will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12. The menu will include oxtail soup, vegetable soup, shrimp and grits, chili, crackers, corn bread and dessert.
