The Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Economics Opportunities Commission will distribute food commodities at the Pine Bluff Convention Center Wednesday, April 18, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. or until the food is depleted.
Participants should bring ID, dates of birth and Social Security numbers for everyone in the home.
People who are picking up food for someone else, should also bring that person’s ID, a note, and the information needed to complete the card. Clients can only pick up for two people.
Applicants must meet income eligibility. Income eligibility may be determined by meeting the following criteria: the household participates in the SNAP (food stamp) program, the household meets the financial eligibility criteria requirements which compares the household size and income to the state income guidelines of 130 percent of the poverty level, or the home has foster children.
For a household of one, the monthly countable income limit is $1,287. For each additional person in the household, add $451. The U.S. Department of Agriculture prohibits discrimination.
