Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Economic Opportunities Inc. is recruiting new board members who represent persons of low income to assist the governance of the organization.
EOC is one of 16 community action agencies in Arkansas and provides services throughout Jefferson, Grant, Arkansas, Lincoln and Cleveland counties.
EOC has an 18 member board with members representing low income communities, elected officials, business, religious, education, and other groups.
Each member of the board is selected to represent a specific county within the service area. Currently, EOC has open low income representatives’ positions for Cleveland, Grant and Lincoln counties.
