The Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Economic Opportunities Commission is accepting applications for Head Start for the 2017-18 school year.
Preschool services for children ages 3 to 5 years include education, health, dental, social, disability and mental health. Parents of children with special needs and homeless families are encouraged to apply. Transportation is not available, according to a news release.
To apply for Head Start, parents will need the following information: the child’s birth certificate, verification of family income, proof of residence and proof of legal guardianship (if applicable.)
Applications are accepted from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at EOC, 1201 W. Pullen Ave. Details: 536-0046, Ext. 156.
