The Empowered Daughters of Destiny Inc. will host an open house and registration for girls 8 and older along with their parents or guardians.
The event will be held from 9:45 to 11:15 a.m. Saturday, May 6, at the Delta Rivers Nature Center, 1400 Black Dog Road, in Regional Park. Light refreshments will be provided.
According to a press release, Empowered Daughters of Destiny is a faith-based, fee free 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization that builds courage, character and confidence, while encouraging sisterhood and friendship.
