The Arkansas State Association, William Townsend Lodge No. 1149 and Pine City Temple No. 841 IBPO Elks of the World Inc., will host the Region V Oratorical Contest at 5 p.m. Saturday at the Ramada Inn.
Contestants that participate in the Region V contest will advance to the Elks Grand National Competition, which will be held July 27-Aug. 3 in Houston, Texas. Region V includes Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Panama, Tennessee, and Texas. The orator for the Arkansas Elks Association is TeShara Crumpton.
