The parking area at the Jefferson County Courthouse remained busy for the final day of early voting Monday. Tuesday is election day for the preferential primary, nonpartisan judicial general election and annual school board election in Jefferson County. Polls will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., and the deadline for delivery of absentee ballots by agent is 1:30 p.m. The deadline to receive absentee ballots by mail or in-person agent for medically disabled registrants is 7:30 p.m. The end-of-day vote counts were 438 for Friday, 242 for Saturday and 622 for Monday.
