The Jefferson County Board of Election Commissioners will meet at 3 p.m. Monday, March 30, at the election commission office, 123 S. Main St. Social distancing of a minimum of six feet will be enforced. No children please, a spokesman said.
Tentative agenda items include the March 31 runoff election update and public comments on new business (two minutes per speaker.) New business includes recertifying logic accuracy testing for Altheimer polling site machines and request the county judge approve administrative support.
Media are invited to remain after the meeting to attend a special precautionary briefing for election day poll judges.
