Educating Hourly Employees in Safety topic of seminar

A seminar entitled “Educating Hourly Employees in Safety,” sponsored by the Southeast Arkansas Human Resources and Safety Committee, will be held on March 21, 7:30 a.m. to 2:15 p.m., at the Southeast Arkansas College, McGeorge Hall-Seminar Room, 1900 Hazel Street in Pine Bluff.

The purpose of the program is to promote hazard recognition in the workplace, thereby reducing employee injuries and illnesses. The program material will target representatives of safety committees, employees just learning about safety, public agencies, or anyone interested in maintaining a safe and healthful workplace. The registration fee is $25 and covers lunch and materials. Participants are urged to pre-register, as seating is limited.

Send a check or money order payable to Arkansas Department of Labor. The letter should be addressed to: Juanita Matlock, Arkansas Department of Labor, 10421 West Markham, Little Rock, Arkansas, 72205-2190. Please note, pre-paid registration fees are not refundable due to incurred expenses.
