Edgewood Elementary School in the Watson Chapel School District will be hosting a ROAR Unity Week. ROAR stands for respect, organized, attentive and responsible. This is part of the district’s PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention Support).
“PBIS is how WCSD is affecting positive change in our students to benefit our community,” according to a news release from the district.
“We will have activities daily. We will host doughnuts for dads, muffins for moms, goodies for grandmas, community helper day, and a pep rally. We will also have a Unity Dance for our students and their families. Unity week is to be held the week before spring break to give our students a refresher on expectations before going on break. We are excited about ROAR Unity week and the positivity that has come to our district through PBIS. Our students are learning ‘The Wildcat Way!’”
