The DuBocage Chapter of American Business Women’s Association approved new officers during a meeting recently at the Pine Bluff Country Club.
The nominating committee, which included Chairwoman Joyce Ann Greene, Christy Bush and Heather Edwards, submitted the nominations for new officers.
They were President Karen Cash, Vice President Heather Edwards, Recording Secretary Cathy Brazeale, and Treasurer Cindy Wallace. The nominations were approved and the new officers will take over these positions at the August meeting.
Rana McClain presented the scholarship from the chapter to Brooke Braden at the White Hall Awards Banquet May 8. The scholarship is for $750 per semester for four years as long as the recipient is a full time student and meets the grade point requirements.
Glenda Dean was chosen to chair a fund-raising committee. Assisting her will be Suzanne Archer and Allison Yaney.
Patsy Stone won the dollar pot and donated it back to the club. Door prizes were won by Kelly Ruggeri, Glenda Dean and Pam Lohnes. The birthday gifts were won by Allison Yaney and Key Faver.
