The Pine Bluff Police Department is looking for the driver of a truck that was allegedly part of a collision with a Pine Bluff school bus Tuesday in which four students sustained minor injuries.
The bus was carrying seven students, ages 11 to 12, PBPD spokesman Capt. Greg Shapiro said in a press release. Four students were taken by ambulance to Jefferson Regional Medical Center for evaluation. None of their injuries were serious.
The truck was described as a mid-’90s Ford F-150 with two-wheel drive, a standard cab size and faded green coloring. The driver was described as a black male in his 20s or 30s and about 5’8” to 5’10” tall.
The accident occurred at 3:25 p.m. Tuesday near East 12th Avenue and Indiana Street. The bus struck a utility pole, causing a temporary loss of power to the area, Shapiro said.
“We need the driver of the truck to contact Traffic Sgt. David Ellington at (870) 550-3283,” Shapiro said.
