GURDON — Junction City scored three of its four runs off errors and got a three-run home run from Dylon Disotell to beat Woodlawn 4-3 Saturday in a 2A South Regional baseball semifinal game.
Junction City has now won two of three games over Woodlawn this season. The Bears (27-5) will play the loser of Horatio vs. Gurdon at noon Monday for third place.
The Dragons scored three runs in the fifth inning on Disotell’s shot to break a 1-1 tie. The Bears scored two in the inning, leading off with a solo home run by Bret Boyd.
Jacob Richardson went 2 for 3 with two RBIs to lead Woodlawn. Trey Hankins took the loss despite holding Junction City to two hits, three walks and five strikeouts in five innings. Gavin Johnston struck out three and allowed a hit in two innings.

Hamburg 14, Nashville 4
STAR CITY — Hamburg had two big innings to advance to the 4A South tournament championship with a 14-4 win over Nashville in five innings on Saturday.
Hamburg sent 11 batters to the plate in the first inning and scored five runs on four hits. In the third inning, Hamburg scored eight runs on eight hits and sent 10 batters to the plate.
Jay Nass got the win for Hamburg and Sky Martin was 2 for 3 with a solo home run. Alex Harrod added a 3 for 4 performance and Nass and Lance Chapman went 2 for 3.
Hamburg plays at 2:30 p.m. on Monday in the championship game against Dumas. Nashville plays at noon on Monday against Pulaski Academy.

Junction City 8, Foreman 3
WOODLAWN — After trailing early, Junction came back to beat Foreman 8-3 to reach the tournament championship on Saturday.
Foreman had a 3-0 lead when Junction City scored two runs in the fourth, five in the fifth and one in the sixth.
Crystal Kegley got the win for Junction City, which faces Dierks for the championship at 2:30 p.m. on Monday in Woodlawn. Foreman plays Spring Hill at noon on Monday for third place.
Dierks 8, Spring Hill 6
WOODLAWN — Dierks built an early lead and held off Spring Hill’s comeback attempt for an 8-6 win in the semifinals on Saturday.
Dierks had a 5-0 lead after three innings before Spring Hill scored three runs in the fourth. Dierks then scored three runs in the fifth to cap its scoring. Spring Hill scored three runs in the fifth but could not get closer.
Kaitlin Lites got the win for Dierks, which plays at 2:30 p.m. on Monday in Woodlawn against Junction City for the championship. Spring Hills plays at noon on Monday for third place against Foreman.
