Dollarway School District will host a Parent Success Fair and open house for the Family Engagement Center.
The event will be held from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, in the George Stepps Technology Building, 4900 Dollarway Road.
The purpose of the event is education and career readiness for parents of Dollarway students, according to a news release.
Parents will be able to network with organizations and agencies that can assist them in these areas and tour the district’s new Family Engagement Center.
Participating vendors include Express Employment, Arkansas Workforce Development, Arkansas Rehabilitation, the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and Southeast Arkansas College.
“Dollarway cares about its families and would like parents to know that the school district is more than a place where they send their children to learn, but it is also a place where parents can get connected to key components that lend toward success of the whole family,” according to the release.
