Dollarway School District will hold its first historical overview of the development of the district. The event will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, at the current Dollarway High School campus, 2602 Fluker St.
“A history of the school’s inception will be chronologized through interviews from former students, administrators and teachers, who were instrumental in the early development of the school system,” spokeswoman Diane Murrell said in a news release.
The program will coincide with the district’s parent night and participants may also view a photo gallery. Interviews from former students of Dollarway, Altheimer and Wabbaseka school districts will be available. These districts combined to form the current Dollarway School District.
