LITTLE ROCK — Thanks to 11-point scoring efforts from Joshua Liddell, Lawrence Allen and Jamal Burton, Dollarway beat Little Rock Catholic 38-33 on Thursday night. The Cardinals improved to 6-1 on the season.
The game went into halftime deadlocked at 14. In the third quarter, Dollarway began to pull away and led 25-22 before closing out the Rockets in the fourth quarter. The Cardinals made 7 of 8 free throw attempts.
Next for Dollarway is its first conference game of the year, when the Cardinals host Lake Village at 7:30 p.m. tonight. On Saturday, Dollarway will face White Hall at 4:30 p.m.

The Lady Wildcats improved to 3-3 and 1-2 in the conference with the victory. Lauren McCullough led the way with 11 points as Megan Moore and Sarah Smith added six each.

The Wilcats used an 18-1 second-quarter advantage to build a comfortable lead against the Falcons. Leonard Robinson led Watson Chapel (4-5) with 14 points, while Kyran Thomas added 11 and Jaylen Peterson provided 10 off the bench.
