Cody Fox of Southern Arkansas University recently earned membership to the Great American Conference 2017-2018 Fall All-Academic Team.
Fox, from DeWitt, is a senior physical education, health, and leisure (K-12) major and SAU men’s cross country team member.
He is part of SAU’s highest GAC All-Academic Team contribution since 2013-2014 with 21 Mulerider and Lady Mulerider student-athletes achieving this honor, according to a news release.
For student-athletes to be recognized on the Academic All-Conference team, they must have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing and must have completed at least one full academic year at the nominating institution. In addition, their grade-point average must be a minimum of 3.30 based on the 4.0 system.
