The Dermott Rams Band students received 10 excellent ratings and six superior ratings in the Region III Solo and Ensemble contest Friday, April 17, at Star City High School.
Sixteen of the 18 Dermott students who attended brought home medals. The band director is David Waschalk. This is the first time the school has been represented at competition in several years.
