The Jefferson County Chief Deputy Clerk Evelyn Goldman and Deputy Clerk Katherine Wooldridge attended the annual Arkansas County Clerks Continuing Education Conference in Rogers June 25-27.
Speakers included Kristen Higgins, who discussed the November 2012 Ballot Issue; Martha Adcock, director of elections; Jeff Sikes, legislative director of the Association of Arkansas Counties with a legislative overview; Ryan Owsley, a deputy in the Attorney General’s Office discussing the Freedom of Information; and Scott Perkins, communications director of the Association of Arkansas Counties discussing “Dealing with the Media.”
