The Arkansas Department of Correction, in support of the National Red Ribbon Campaign, will host the 29th annual Red Ribbon Run.
The event will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, on the parking lot of the Wellness Center at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Runners can register on site for $20, according to a news release.
“The event, which brings together department staff and members of the Jefferson County community, is an opportunity for the department to encourage a drug-free lifestyle within Jefferson County, while raising money for college scholarships,” according to the release.
