Judge Jodi Dennis of the Eleventh West Judicial Circuit, Division 5, was named 2013 Judge of the Year by the Arkansas Association of Defense Counsel.
The AADC created the award to recognize a current sitting judge in any federal or state court in Arkansas who has demonstrated a commitment to the impartial administration of justice.
Her docket includes civil and criminal cases as well as cases involving inmates housed in the district.
The Eleventh West Judicial District is made up of Jefferson and Lincoln counties.
