The Jefferson County Democratic Women will meet at 6 p.m. Monday in the Garden Room of the Holiday Inn Express at The Pines mall.
The guest speaker, Kymara Seals, will discuss campaign strategies for the 2012 election year. The business agenda will include the election of officers for the coming year.
Mary McBee and Evelyn Horton are continuing to collect for the “Shoe Box Full of Love” project. Shoe boxes will be filled with items that a third-grader might use as learning tools during the summer and sent to the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota.
Members are urged to attend, bring a guest, and gather information about the upcoming election year. Meetings are open to the public.
