Delta food bank, Hosanna church to give away food, clothes

The Delta Network Food Bank and the Hosanna Christian Church of Pine Bluff will give away food, clothes, toys and household items to low income families.

The annual Helping Hands event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, at Concourse D of the Pine Bluff Convention Center. All children must be present to receive toys.

A special program will be presented by the John Kelley Edwards Kidz Crusade Ministry, under the leadership of Chester Thompson, pastor of Zion Hill Baptist Church at Camden and presiding prelate of the Agape Fellowship.

The Helping Hands organizers are also accepting donations of non-perishable food, new and slightly used clothing and shoes, especially coats, caps and gloves; toys, household items as well as financial donations.

The Delta Network Inc. is a 501c-3 tax exempt organization. All donations are tax deductible. Checks may be made to Delta Network Inc. and mailed to P.O. Box 20278, White Hall, AR, 71612.
