Maintenance work requires temporary closure and traffic detour on Arkansas 207, according to the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT.)
Weather permitting, on Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 21-Aug. 22, Arkansas 207 will be closed to through traffic between Arkansas 7 at Ouachita and Arkansas 128 just south of Sparkman. This closure will allow crews to replace a pipe culvert.
Local traffic will be permitted, however through traffic traveling on Arkansas 7 north will be detoured to Sparkman and then use Arkansas 128 to return to Holly Springs, according to a news release.
Traffic will be controlled using flaggers, signage and traffic cones. Drivers should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
