The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department will begin a night project to seal joints and cracks on the Interstate 530 entrance and exit ramps at Highway 270 (exit 34) and Highway 63 (exit 43) on Friday.
The work will consist of cleaning and sealing joints and cracks in the concrete pavement with a flexible joint sealant material. The ramps will remain open to traffic during the operation, but the lane width will be reduced in the work area. The work will be conducted at night and will begin at 12 a.m. and will be completed by 7 a.m. Friday morning. The public should expect to encounter flagging operations and short delays at the exit and entrance ramps at each of these locations.
