Crenshaw Springs Water Park, 9801 Dollarway Rd., is accepting job applications for its 2026 summer season, and White Hall Deputy Mayor Jeff May recommends that potential employees submit one as soon as possible.
“We plan to hire between 50 and 60 high school and college students,” said May, who oversees the operation.
Available positions include manning the front gate, operating the concession stands, and serving as a lifeguard.
“It’s a great first summer job,” he said.
There’s plenty of sunshine, socializing, and free snacks and drinks while learning employment skills like showing up on time, frying up a corn dog, or mopping the floor. Kids as young as 14 can apply if they have a state work permit.
Independent reporting for Pine Bluff & Jefferson County since 1879.
Also, Crenshaw Springs will need about 34 lifeguards who must complete a class and be certified, and they must be at least 15 years old.
Starting lifeguard positions pay $12 per hour, while starting nonlifeguard positions pay $11 per hour. Employees work three days on, three days off.
They give preference to returning student employees.
Applicants can expect a call soon. “We will start hiring within the next few weeks,” May said.
The water park will open Memorial Day weekend and remain open through Labor Day. It’s one of White Hall’s biggest summer employers for teens and young adults.
When city leaders first discussed building the Crenshaw Springs Water Park, creating youth employment was cited as one of the main reasons for its construction, May said.
If interested in applying for a 2026 summer season job at the Crenshaw Springs Water Park, stop by the White Hall Community Center Monday through Saturday between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. and ask for an application at the front desk.
