While White Hall doesn’t have a covid vaccination station, Doctor’s Orders Pharmacy 1 is serving all of Jefferson County’s residents, including White Hall.
Normally, those eligible for the vaccine would be directed to the pharmacy’s Vaccination Station on Facebook.
There, said pharmacist and Doctor’s Order’s owner Lelan Stice, anyone eligible under the state’s current vaccination approval list can sign up.
Currently, first responders and those 70 or older and those who work in education are eligible to receive the vaccination under state guidelines.
If the vaccine is currently available through the pharmacy, it allows residents to set up an appointment, and it automatically assigns a reappointment date for 21 days later.

People must include their names and birthdays, and before receiving the vaccine at the Doctor’s Orders Pharmacy at 2302 W. 28th Ave. in Pine Bluff, they will be required to present a valid picture ID.
The currently available vaccines require two doses administered three and four weeks apart, depending on which one is administered.
Anyone older than 70 can qualify for the vaccine, but he said he realizes many in this age group aren’t always internet or Facebook savvy.
So he’s asking that the community step up and help the elderly, whether it’s a grandchild, neighbor or church member.
The pharmacy also has an Inject to Protect on its Facebook page at dopcovidvaccine.
Friday vaccination event
However, Stice said, any interested White Hall residents are encouraged to participate in a Friday covid clinic being held at the Pine Bluff Convention Center, 1 Convention Center Drive, from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m.
Doctor’s Orders is planning to vaccine 1,000 Jefferson County residents during that time.
It’s by appointment only, Stice said, and he encourages anyone who wants to participate to call (870) 218-1718 as soon as possible. Or, they can email dopcovidvaccine@gmail.com.
When calling, Stice said, people will need to provide their names and birth dates before an appointment time is assigned.
They also will need a picture ID before receiving a vaccination at the Convention Center.
