The Jefferson County Courthouse will be closed Friday, Nov. 2, in observance of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff’s Homecoming, however early voting will still occur.
Early voters may use the east entrance to the courthouse, according to a news release from the office of County Judge Booker Clemons.
In support of UAPB, the judge also declared Thursday, Nov. 1, as UAPB Homecoming Day at the courthouse.
“Please join us in supporting the Golden Lions’ Golden Time of the Year,” a spokesman said.
Employees may dress accordingly and decorate their offices, according to the release.
