Jefferson County’s Anti-Litter campaign is entering its third week and County Judge Booker Clemons has announced an additional location for disposing of items.
According to a press release, county residents may drop off items in containers on Division Street in Altheimer, the Sulphur Springs Park n Sulphur Springs Road, the Highway 63 Fire Station across from the convenience store and at the county road department at 3304 W. 7th Ave.
The containers will be available Friday through Sunday, June 15 — 17 and June 22 — 24, and will be monitored.
Clemons is asking residents to use the containers to dispose of unwanted items and refuse.
