WASHINGTON – Republican Tom Cotton ended 2011 with a significant cash advantage over two other Republicans running in Arkansas’ Fourth Congressional District.
Cotton closed the year with $479,007 cash on hand. Beth Anne Rankin finished the year with $176,520 in her treasury and Marcus Richmond $100,915, according to year-end financial reports.
Rep. Mike Ross, D-Prescott, is not running for re-election this November. No Democratic candidate for the 4th District has filed a financial report with the Federal Election Commission. Year-end reports were due on Tuesday.
Cotton, R-Dardanelle, raised $479,007 during the fourth quarter of 2011. Rankin, R-Magnolia, raised $65,905 and Richmond $100,915, according to their FEC reports.
Reps. Tim Griffin, R-Little Rock, Steve Womack, R-Rogers, and Rick Crawford, R-Jonesboro, are seeking re-election in Arkansas’sthree other congressional district races.

Griffin ended 2011 with $479,591 cash on hand. Crawford had $277,636 in the bank. And, Womack had $246,200 in his campaign treasury to close 2011.
Clark Hall, D-Marvell, reported $107,045 cash on hand at the end of 2011. He is challenging Crawford in the 1st District.
No Democratic challenger to Womack or Griffin filed a financial report with the FEC.
Ken Aden, a Democrat challenging Womack, has not No Democratic challenger filed a financial report. ActBlue, a Democratic clearinghouse for online campaign contributions claims to have raised $15,383 for Aden from 566 supporters.
