The Jefferson County Cooperative Extension Service and a host of co-sponsors will conduct an Area Agri Conference on Jan. 10 at the Waterfront Facility at Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Regional Park.
Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. Ag consultants may receive Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) by attending this conference.
The session will concentrate on wheat, corn, rice, soybeans and cotton production. Integrated Pest Management (IPM) concerns relating to weeds, insects and diseases or nematodes will also be discussed. Local USDA officials will also offer updated information .
Producers and agri-business representatives are encouraged to attend this meeting. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
