A spring organizational meeting will be held for the Downtown Community Garden at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 1, at First United Methodist Church, 200 W. Sixth Ave.
The meeting will be held in the conference room and is open to anyone interested in adopting a planting bed in the Community Garden at Seventh Avenue and Chestnut Street.
“Our last freeze date is usually in the middle of March, so now is the time to begin planning for our first crops,” a spokeswoman said.
