The annual White Hall Community Christmas will be held Dec. 5 starting at 6 p.m. at the White Hall James “Jitters” Morgan Community Center, 9801 Dollarway Road.
Santa will be there for a meet-and-greet, and there will be activities for kids, along with hot chocolate, popcorn and Christmas cookies for everyone, said White Hall Deputy Mayor Jeff May, who’s also a White Hall Chamber of Commerce board member.
“It’s that magical time of year again … Join us for an evening filled with holiday fun, family activities, and community cheer as we celebrate the Christmas season together,” May said.
There will be booths and activities sponsored by local businesses and organizations. Everyone is invited. Admission is free, but participants are asked to bring a nonperishable food item or an unwrapped children’s toy to the event.
“These will be donated to and distributed by the White Hall Food Bank,” May said.

This event is sponsored by the White Hall Chamber and last year more than 500 guests attended. The Chamber expects that many people again this year, or more, May said. For more information, call (870) 247-6964.
STARS LIGHT UP CITY PARK
The annual Stars in the Park will shine brightly, starting at dark Dec. 5 at White Hall City Park, 101 Parkway Drive.
The event is sponsored by the White Hall Chamber of Commerce, and members suggest checking out the park before heading to their annual White Hall Community Christmas, being held at 6 p.m. at the community center.
There will be 151 three-foot lighted trees, with loved ones’ names on top, spread out across City Park, said Jeff May, White Hall Deputy Mayor and Chamber Board Member.
Stars in the Park is a way for families and friends to remember their loved ones during the Christmas season.
“We could have had at least 200 stars if we’d had the trees,” but they ran out, May said.
There are plans to build about another 50 trees before Christmas 2026, May said. The cost for each tree was $10, with the proceeds going to the White Hall Chamber.
