Recently graduated officers join PBPD
Sierra Johnson and Xavier Higgins graduated from the Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy and have joined the Pine Bluff Police Department as officers.
According to a Facebook post from the PBPD, the officers spent 13 weeks at the academy, accumulating 623 hours of rigorous training “to ensure their success as officers and leaders in the Pine Bluff community.”
Johnson and Higgins achieved certifications in emergency vehicle operation, crisis intervention training, standardized field sobriety training, emergency first aid training, firearms training and advanced law enforcement rapid response training.
“We are confident their diverse skill set and dedication will greatly enhance our team’s capabilities,” the PBPD said. “Please join us in welcoming Officers Johnson and Higgins to our team!”
