The Jefferson County Election Commission will conduct the annual school election Tuesday. Polls will open from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. in school districts with contested races — Pine Bluff and Watson Chapel.
A canvass and count of the vote will take place at the Election Center, 123 Main St., after the closing of the polls. Other commission policies may be discussed and any matters coming properly before the commission will be considered.
