Will Gragg has not even taken a snap in a varsity high school football game yet, but he already has made an impact on the coaching staff at the University of Arkansas.
Gragg, who will be a sophomore, has been at the individual camp Arkansas is hosting in Fayetteville and has apparently been making a name for himself. On Tuesday, Pine Bluff High School football coach Bobby Bolding told the Pine Bluff Commercial that Gragg has been offered a scholarship by Arkansas.
“He’s at their individual camps that started on Sunday,” he said. “Will Gragg will be a sophomore and has been offered a scholarship by the University of Arkansas.”
Gragg is a name the Razorbacks are familiar with already. Will’s older brother, Chris, will be a senior tight end for the Razorbacks. Will is a tight end as well and will also play defensive end for PBHS.
This will be Will Gragg’s first year playing for the Zebras. Last year, he was a member of the Monticello junior high football team and varsity basketball team. Bolding said he does not know how Gragg will be used in the team’s offense yet since this will be his first year with the team.

Will’s dad, Kelvin, works for the Pine Bluff School District as a director of federal programs. Chris played for Warren High School before attending the University of Arkansas. Attempts to reach Kelvin Gragg were unsuccessful.
This is the first time in Bolding’s five years at Pine Bluff that a player has been offered by Arkansas.
“That is pretty impressive and he is just a great kid,” he said. “He has all of the physical tools and has a lot of developing to do, but he has plenty of time.
“He has a great work ethic and a tremendous attitude and he is a well-rounded young man.”
